Review accounts and people

Find new records, correct their data and set their review state.

Review records after discovery or import. Correct the shared record data, then set the review state in this campaign.

Before you start

  • Complete the HTTP quickstart. Set LINKT_API_URL and LINKT_API_KEY.
  • Create a campaign. Set CAMPAIGN_ID to the returned id.
  • Use an API key with effective permissions for the reads and changes in this guide. See Permissions.
  • This procedure starts no research and uses no credits.
  • Fill the campaign through discovery or import.

Review accounts

Find new records

curl --fail-with-body --request GET "$LINKT_API_URL/v2/accounts?campaign_id=$CAMPAIGN_ID&limit=5&review_state=new" \
  --header "x-api-key: $LINKT_API_KEY"

API reference: search_accounts

Select an account from data and set ACCOUNT_ID to its id.

Read and correct the account

curl --fail-with-body --request GET "$LINKT_API_URL/v2/accounts/$ACCOUNT_ID" \
  --header "x-api-key: $LINKT_API_KEY"

API reference: get_account

Store the returned id; a merged record can return a different ID.

curl --fail-with-body --request PATCH "$LINKT_API_URL/v2/accounts/$ACCOUNT_ID" \
  --header "x-api-key: $LINKT_API_KEY" \
  --header "Content-Type: application/json" \

Use the same procedure with the people operations. Set PERSON_ID from the list response.

curl --fail-with-body --request GET "$LINKT_API_URL/v2/people?campaign_id=$CAMPAIGN_ID&limit=5&review_state=new" \
